Iran, Iraq Discuss Cooperation in Quranic Diplomacy

IQNA – An Iraqi official visited the Quran and Propagation International Center of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization in Tehran to discuss cooperation in different fields, including Quranic diplomacy.

According to ICRO’s public relations office, during the visit, Sheikh Hassan al-Mansouri, the head of the international Quranic propagation center of the Astan (custodianship) of Imam Hussein (AS) holy shrine, learned about various activities of the Quran and Propagation International Center under a comprehensive plan called Risalatallah and held talks with its president Hojat-ol-Islam Seyed Mostafa Hosseini Neyshabouri.

In the meeting, Hojat-ol-Islam Hosseini Neyshabouri highlighted Iran’s leading role in developing the theoretical and practical literature of Quranic diplomacy.

Sheikh Mansouri welcomed expansion of Quranic cooperation between the two sides and said Islam, as the most comprehensive religion, offers humanity the Quranic lifestyle.

He stressed the need for using Quranic capacities to create new ideas and methods in educational and propagation activities.

The two official talked about joint cooperation with the aim of elevating Quranic diplomacy at the international level through exchanging experiences.

They also discussed signing a memorandum of understanding on Quranic cooperation.
