IQNA – The massive participation of people in the funeral held recently for Hezbollah martyrs shattered the fantasies the criminal Zionist gang, a senior Iranian commander said.

Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi attending the graduation ceremony of students of the Army’s University of Command and Staff (DAFOOS) in Tehran on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.

Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi made the remark in the graduation ceremony of students of the Army’s University of Command and Staff (DAFOOS) in Tehran on Wednesday.

He was referring to the funeral procession for former Hezbollah secretary general Sayed Hassan Nasrallah and another senior figures of the resistance movement Sayed Hashem Safieddine that took place in Beirut on Sunday with a massive participation of people from Lebanon and 70 other countries.

Not only was every moment of the blessed lives of the resistance commanders, but also their martyrdom and this unforgettable, magnificent funeral procession symbolized honor, greatness, vitality, pride, liveliness, and the continuation of the path of resistance, Major General Mousavi said.

The funeral proved the wrong notion of the Zionists and their supporters, including the US, that by killing innocent and defenseless children, women and men, they can put out the blazing flame that is consuming them, he said.

Every bomb that the Zionist regime drops adds fuel to the rage of truth-seekers against the regime, he stated.
