Quranic Services Offered to Pilgrims on Holy Prophet’s Demise Anniversary

The Holy Quran Scientific Assembly affiliated with the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine has begun providing Quranic services in Diwaniyah province through two Quranic stations, coinciding with the anniversary of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) demise.

Khaled Al-Abadi, head of the Holy Quran Institute in Diwaniyah, stated that onbe of the two Quranic stations has been established in the provincial center and the other in the Shamiyah region.

The purpose of establishing these stations is to provide Quranic, cultural and guidance services to pilgrims who are heading to the holy city of Najaf, he said.

In addition, various programs and activities have been prepared in them in accordance with the atmosphere of the pilgrimage, he stated.

Al-Abdi added that this project is part of the institution's efforts to commemorate religious occasions and provide services to pilgrims by establishing Quranic stations on pilgrimage routes; stations that provide a combined atmosphere of direct service, Quranic education, and religious guidance, and reflect the commitment of the Astan to provide diverse services to pilgrims during pilgrimages and religious ceremonies.
