Hammam, along with four others, including a Qatari security guard, was martyred in an Israeli terrorist attack on a gathering of Hamas officials in Doha last week.

The following clip features Hammam’s Tarteel recitation of the Quran at the funeral ceremony for the children and grandchildren of martyr Ismail Haniyeh, the former head of Hamas' political bureau, who was assassinated and martyred by the Zionists in Iran in July last year..

Hammam recited verses 154 to 157 of Surah Al-Baqarah about the martyrs at the ceremony, which was also attended by his father.

On September 9, the Israeli regime launched airstrikes on the headquarters of Hamas in Doha, in what was described as an “assassination operation” that claimed the lives of several members of the movement as well as a Qatari security officer.

The top Hamas leadership, including Khalil al-Hayya, Khaled Meshal, and Zaher Jabarin, survived the assassination attempt.

Following the deadly strike, Qatar decried Israel’s “cowardly” assault as “state terrorism,” promising to respond to the strikes.
