Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah, unveiled the Tarteel recitation, performed as narrated by Hafs from Asim, during a ceremony at the Sharjah Quran Assembly.
At this ceremony, Al Qasimi appreciated the efforts of the Quran reciters in recording various recitations and praised the Iraqi qari for completing work, as well as Mahmoud Suwaidan, an Emirati reciter who has presented three recited Qurans in different narrations.
These efforts are effective in promoting the Book of God and facilitating its recitation and memorization, and the recordings are considered a documented and reliable audio reference for researchers, Quran memorizers, and those interested in Quranic sciences, he stated.
The Ruler of Sharjah also said that these initiatives are in line with the numerous Quranic projects of the Sharjah Quran Academy to serve Muslims around the world, and are implemented in the form of printed and digital publications, applications and modern technologies.
He urged researchers and Quran students to benefit from the Quranic recitation by Ra’ad al-Kurdi and to continue their efforts to serve the Quran and teach and spread the Word of God.
