Yemenis Reiterate Support for Resistance Front in Million-Strong Rally

IQNA – People in Sana’a, the capital of Yemen, held a million-strong march Friday in support of the resistance front fighters in Iran, Lebanon, Yemen and elsewhere.

The demonstrators, marching in Sab'in Square in Sana’a, underlined support of the axis of resistance against the Zionist regime and the United States, Yemeni media reported.

They issued a statement announcing that they proudly welcome the decision of their leadership and armed forces to participate militarily in the current battle against US-Israeli aggressors.

The statement reads: “We welcome the leadership's decision to participate in the battle to confront the so-called ‘Greater Israel’ plan, because the decision to participate militarily is, first and foremost, a response to God, and secondly, a response to the will of the faithful and wise people.”

The Yemeni citizens congratulated the Islamic Republic of Iran for its effective and decisive strikes against the enemies. They also congratulated the heroic men of Lebanon’s Hezbollah for their continued high-efficiency and strong performance, and becoming a nightmare for the enemy.

The Islamic Ummah has no choice but to wage jihad against the Israeli regime, the statement said.

The Zionist crimes against holy sites and other places prove beyond a doubt that the Islamic Ummah has no choice but to wage jihad in confronting them, and the consequences of not confronting the Zionist regime’s aggression and tyranny will be very dangerous and catastrophic, the Yemeni demonstrators reiterated.

“We condemn the very dangerous crime of continuing to close the doors of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, because the purpose behind it is to subjugate Muslims and separate them from Al-Aqsa, and prepare to destroy it, as they intend to do.”
