Birth Anniversary of Holy Prophet (PBUH) Celebrated in Baku
On the occasion of birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), a ceremony was held on January 25 in Baku, the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, “Shabnam” Islamic school hosted the program which was organized by the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Caucasia.
The ceremony was attended by a number of representatives of the religious office, officials of Baku Municipality and teachers and students of the school.
It was addressed by Ghamar Javadli, deputy of the religious office who read out the message of congratulation on the auspicious occasion sent by Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade, head of the office and Grand Mufti of the Caucasus.
The deputy then talked about Seerah and moral virtues of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH).
Tawasheeh (choral religious song), eulogies and congregational supplications were some parts of the program.
