This is according to Susan Safaverdi, international deputy of the presidential office’s Women Affairs Center.
She told IQNA that the conference “Roadmap for Reviving Human Rights and Women’s Rights c in Islam” will be held at the Foreign Ministry in Tehran until February 14.
She said all OIC member states have been invited to send representatives to the conference, in which challenges on the way of institutions working on women’s rights, as well as efficiency or inefficiency of their activities are discussed.
Ms Safaverdi noted that if approved, the charter will be a prototype for a charter of women’s rights according to Islam’s view.
