2nd Annual Poetry Festival about Infallible Imams (AS) in Kazemayn
The second annual festival of Arabic poetry about Imam Musa Kazem (AS) and Imam Mohammad Taghi (AS), the 7th and 9th infallible Imams, will be held on May 24 and 25 in Kazemayn, Iraq.
According to Buratha news agency, the organizing committee of the program held the fourth meeting to discuss the festival.
Development and enrichment of Arabic language and literature, clarification of the two Imams’ (AS) role in dissemination of religious teachings in the Muslim society as well as their role in the introduction of Mahdawiyyat and objectives of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent) were the main themes discussed at the meeting.
Organizers of the festival announced that they plan to provide an opportunity for Arab-speaking poets and intellectuals to interact and exchange experiences in creating new literary works in this field.
