10 out of 42 Countries to Participate at Jordan Int'l Quran Contest

Only 10 out of 42 countries have voiced their preparedness for participating in the 8th Jordan International Quran Contest, Al-Sabeel newspaper reported.

Abd-ol-Salam Al-Ebadi, Jordan’s Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Sanctities, said in statement that with only 22 days left to register for the 8th Jordan International Quran Competition, only 10 out of 42 countries have introduced their representatives to the contest.
The event will kick off on April 1. It will feature various categories including recitation, memorization and interpretation both for male and female.
