Tripoli Capital of Islamic Culture 2013 Joint Committee Meets in Rabat

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) at headquarters on 9 through 10 April is holding a coordination meeting of the joint preparatory committee for the celebration of Tripoli (northwest Lebanon) as capital of the Islamic culture in 2013.

The meeting will focus on organizational preparations for the educational, scientific and cultural activities scheduled for implementation as part of the celebration, and set the date for the inauguration ceremony and all other details.
In attendance will be Mr Faisal Taleb, Director General for Culture of Lebanon’s Ministry of Culture, along with Dr Mustapha Ahmed Ali, Director of Culture and Communication, and other officials and experts from ISESCO.
