Dr Abbas Sadri, Director of the Regional Office of ISESCO in Tehran, will represent ISESCO Director General and read out a speech on his behalf.
Celebrating Ghazni, the Asian region’s capital of Islamic culture for 2013, is part of the 2005-2024 program of ISESCO on Islamic culture capitals, approved by the Islamic Conference of Culture Ministers at its sixth session in Baku in 2009.
ISESCO will also take part in the official ceremony which will be held on 13 April 2013, in Niamey, capital-city of Niger, to mark the end of the celebration of this city as the 2012 Islamic Culture Capital for the African region.
Dr Seydou Cissé, Program Specialist at the Education Directorate, will read out the address of ISESCO in this ceremony which will be presided over by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Niger.
During this ceremony, ISESCO Prize for the Best Handicraft Product in Niamey, and ISESCO Prize for the best creative works of students, teachers and artists on the city will be awarded to the winners.
