IQNA – The head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization of Iran attended the Hajj Conference of 1447 AH.

Alireza Rashidian, the head of the Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization of Iran attended the Hajj Conference of 1447 AH in Saudi Arabia on May 20, 2026.

 

Alireza Rashidian, who has traveled to Saudi Arabia at the official invitation of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, took part in the conference on Wednesday.

This international conference is being held with the presence of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, the Hajj officials of Islamic countries, and senior officials related to Hajj affairs.

The latest coordination, planning, and executive arrangements for holding this year’s Hajj rituals in a grand and orderly manner are being examined at the gathering.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Saudi Hajj minister welcomed the participating delegations and emphasized the importance of synergy among Islamic countries to provide the best possible service to the guests of the Most Gracious and to hold the Hajj 1447 AH in the most magnificent manner.

The head of the Iranian Hajj and Pilgrimage Organization also held talks with Hajj officials from various countries on the sidelines of the conference, discussing cooperation and coordination related to the Hajj season.

The annual Hajj conference is one of the most important international meetings of the Islamic world on the eve of the Hajj season, which is held with the aim of improving the level of coordination, facilitating the provision of services to pilgrims, and strengthening cooperation among Islamic countries.
