
Seyed Ali Marashi said three pilgrims from our country have died in Saudi Arabia so far, according to the organization’s information website.
He said that since the beginning of the dispatch of Hajj pilgrims this year, 22,391 visits by Iranian pilgrims have been made to general and specialist doctors in Mecca and 7,851 visits in Medina.
A total of 60,830 services have been provided to the pilgrims so far, he stated.
“So far, we have had 7,188 nursing services, 23,592 prescriptions, and 61 pilgrims have recovered and been discharged. Also, 105 pilgrims have been sent to hospitals, 14 of whom are still hospitalized, and unfortunately, three of the pilgrims have also died.”

He went on to say that according to continuous assessments, the most common reasons for pilgrims’ visits and complaints have been muscle pain and cold symptoms.
This year, more than 30,000 Iranians have been dispatched to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
