According to IQNA’s branch in Europe, the Office for Muslims’ Religious Affairs in Tatarstan announced that the program was organized by the Russian Literature Journal titled “Frienship of Nations”, Fund of Humanitarian Cooperation, Ministry of Culture, Tatarstan’s Union of Authors and the national library of the country.
Representatives from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan participated at the program.
How much Islam has been reflected in the contemporary literature of the world was the main theme discussed at the program.
The participants also stressed the need for increasing the role and influence of the contemporary literature against Islamophobia.
