Quran & Etrat Fraction of the Majlis to Meet with President-elect
Head of the Majlis’ Quran and Etrat Fraction said members of the fraction have requested to meet with President-elect.
Laleh Eftekhari told IQNA that the meeting is likely to be held during the holy month of Ramadan.
She said that given the importance of activities aimed at developing the Quranic culture in society, the fraction requested the meeting and the present-elect’s office and that the request has been accepted.
Ms Eftekhari said Hojat-ol-Islam Rohani is a man of culture and his record shows that he pays special attention to Quranic and religious activities.
“We expect that great strides should be taken in all fields (by the next administration) to improve the Quranic culture,” she stated.
The MP added that the country’s Quranic community expect that the 4 ministers whose activities are related to activities to develop the Quranic culture should be individuals who can diligently work to foster the culture of the Quran.
Elsewhere in her remarks, Ms Eftekhari referred to the opening of the 21st International Holy Quran Exhibition and said members of the Quran and Etrat Fraction plan to visit the exhibition in the next few days.
