Imam Khomeini’s (RA) Announcement of Int’l Quds Day Reinvigorated Palestinian Resistance Groups
Imam Khomeini’s (RA) announcement of the last Friday of Ramadan as the International Quds Day reinvigorated Palestinian Jihadi groups.
Member of the Combatant Clergy Association Hojat-ol-Islam Hossein Ebrahimi made the remark in an interview with IQNA, adding that the International Quds Day rallies is an influential factor in boosting Muslim unity in the world.
He said the announcement by Imam Khomeini (RA) also gave a new direction to the movement of Jihadi groups of Palestine.
According to the cleric, these groups that followed different ideals, based their activities on Islamic values after Imam Khomeini (RA) mentioned the Quds day and Muslim nations held enthusiastic rallies in support of the Palestinian people.
He underlined that the Palestinian Intifada was rooted in annual Quds day rallies held all over the Muslim world.
Hojat-ol-Islam Ebrahimi also said that these rallies have played a major role in demoralizing the Zionist regime and its supporters.
He stressed that the International Quds Day should be observed by all Muslims so that it can be a prelude to the liberation of the holy city.
