Poetry and Painting Contest on Palestine Underway in France
A poetry and painting contest on Palestine has been underway for children since July 10 in France.
According to saphirnews website, the call for the competition was announced by an Islamic association in Rhone-Alpes region of the country which invited French children to send their paintings and poems about Palestine.
“My Palestinian Sisters and Brothers” is the title of the contest, which will continue until August 10.
Organized for children aged between 5 to 11, the contest aims to make the children acquainted with the issue of Palestine and innocent Palestinian people.
100 top participants will be awarded and the money to be raised during the contest will be donated to Palestinian children.
