Tehran to Host Congress of “World Union of Muslim Woman”

A conference of the World Union of Muslim Woman will be held in Tehran on Saturday, September 7, in Tehran.
The Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought will organize the international conference on the occasion of Hazrat Masoumeh (SA) birth anniversary, IQNA’s Qom branch reported.
50 elite women from different countries like Iraq, Bahrain, Algeria, Lebanon, Britain, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Colombia, the United States, … will take part in the congress.
It will feature papers on different issues including the role of women grassroots organizations in strengthening and developing the culture of proximity, and the opportunities and challenges before grassroots organizations.
There will be other issues discussed at the international event such as policies and strategies for development of women’s status, ways for improving the effects of women grassroots organizations, and the obstacles to promotion of status of women in the world.
