Forum to Discuss “Status of Iran and Turkey in Islamic Civilization and Culture”

The eight edition of a forum on Iran-Turkey cultural relations will be held on February 13, 2014 in Bursa city of Turkey.
According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the program which is titled “Status of Iran and Turkey in Islamic Civilization and Culture” will be organized on the occasion of “The Cultural Year of The Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkey”.
Uludag University in the city will host the program to be held by the International Center for Cultural Studies of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) and Iranian Cultural Center in Ankara in cooperation with Turk History Foundation.
The role of Islam in modernization of Iranian and Turkish societies, political status of Iran and Turkey in Islamic civilization, the role of Iranian and Turkish NGOs in Islamic culture and civilization, status of Islamic architecture of Iran and Turkey in Islamic culture and civilization, migration and immigrants of Iran and Turkey in Islamic culture and civilization are some of the themes of the forum.
Those willing to attend the program should send their abstracts to iranturkeyrelations@gmail.com by October 22.
The abstracts will be evaluated and the result will be announced on November 6.
The deadline for submission of full papers to the secretariat of the forum will be January 5, 2014.
