Quranic Course for Female Teachers of Islamic Education in Karbala

The 8th edition of an educational-Quranic course for female teachers of Islamic education and training began on October 21 in the holy city of Karbala.
According to sotaliraq website, the course has been planned in line with educational and Quranic programs of the custodianship of Imam Hussein’s (AS) holy shrine with the aim of promoting qualifications of educational cadres of academic schools in Iraq.
Ali Abdultayi, in charge of the Quran Teaching Section of the holy shrine’s Dar-ol-Quran, said in this respect that this edition of the course has been organized as a complementary for a Quranic course held by the Dar-ol-Quran last month.
Tajweed principles, both theoretically and practically, as well as Quran interpretation and Quranic sciences are instructed to the participants and three top ones will be awarded at the end of the course.
64 female teachers from various schools of Karbala province have participated in the course.
It is being held in cooperation with Education Office of the province.
The previous Quranic course which was titled "Umm-ol-Banin" was attended by 84 female teachers of Islamic education and concluded last week.
The Dar-ol-Quran of the holy shrine will host the new course for 15 days, he added.
