Iran’s Quranic Community to Meet with Supreme Leader on 1st Day of Ramadan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Members of the Iranian Quranic community will meet with Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei next Thursday.

The meeting will take place on June 18, which marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.

As in previous years, a number of the country’s top Qaris will recite verses from the Holy Quran during the event, Fars reported.

In last year’s meeting of the Quranic community with Ayatollah Khamenei, Mohammad Mehdi Beigi, Hamed Valizadeh, Kazem Azarpira, Mehdi Shiavi, Mehdi Gholamnejad, Karim Mansouri, and Ahmad Abolqassemi were among the Qaris who recited the Quran in the presence of the Supreme Leader.

The holy fasting month of Ramadan falls on June 18- July 17 this year.
