The 57th edition of Malaysia’s International Holy Quran Recitation and Memorization Competition was launched in a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday evening.
Representatives of some 70 countries are attending the five-day Quranic event, which is held in two categories of memorization and recitation of the Quran.
The theme of this year’s contest is “Unity the Pulse of a Nation’s Transformation.
Mohsen Hajihassani Kargar represents the Islamic Republic of Iran in the recitation category of the Quranic contest.
