He made the remark at the closing ceremony of this year’s festival held on Friday, adding that the festival reached its objectives.
The Iranian cultural center in Moscow organized the international festival of the Quran in the Russian capital for the first time.
It began on July 11 on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Religious scholars and translators, including those from Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkey and India attended the event.
Presenting Quran copies and translations of the Holy Book, screening movies and animation, and showcasing Quranic works of art were among the programs of the festival.
