“International Law in Light of Islamic Sharia” Forum in Gaza
According to Al-Wataniya website, participants in the program stressed the necessity for the development of scholarly researches on human commonalities which are based on Islamic Sharia and the principles of humanitarian international law and those which help to strengthen influential and constructive dialogue.
Also among the objective of the program was to highlight the role of international judicial systems in bringing war criminals and those who violate humanitarian international lawto justice.
The scholars and intellectuals also stressed the necessity of getting the international organizations acquainted with Islamic laws and principles which are related to humanitarian international law.
The need for increasing dialogue among Islamic institutes, academies, organizations and local and international associations to boost cooperation among influential human organizations in the contemporary world was also stressed in the forum.
