Morocco to Host Int’l Forum on “Rights of Religious Minorities in Muslim World”

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An international forum titled “Rights of Religious Minorities in the Muslim World” will be organized on January 25-27 by Morocco’s Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.


According to the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), the Abu Dhabi-based Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies will cooperate in holding the program.

A number of religious leaders, intellectuals and experts from various parts of the world will participate in the international forum, which will be supervised by Muhammad VI, the King of Morocco.

Determining a legal framework for minorities while taking into account the historical issues and regional and international aspects of human rights in today’s world will be discussed in the program.

Abdul Ilah bin Arfah, an expert in cultural policies, will represent ISESCO in the international event.

The "Morocco Announcement” will be issued at the end of the forum.
