Initiative Underway in Egypt to Offer Quran Course to 1000 Children
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A group of young people in Beheira governorate have started an initiative to hold Quran memorization and tarteel courses for 1,000 children for free.
The youths of Abu Homs charity association launched the initiative last week, according to Elwatannews.com.
Based on the initiative, 35 centers across villages of Abu Homs city have been established that offer free courses on Quran memorization and tarteel recitation to local children.
The association is supplying the required Quran copies and other educational materials and equipment for free.
Children above four years old can participate in this initiative. Teachers in this plan are qualified Al-Azhar graduates who have the needed certificates.
The association aims to train 1,000 children in a period of 3 years.
