A total 190 individuals who have learned the Quran by heart were honored at the ceremony, held at the General Lansana Conté Stadium, Baladi website reported.
Twenty-three of them were women who have committed the Quran to memory by attending courses organized by Dar al-Salam, Othman bin Affan and Nur al-Quran centers.
A large number of people as well as senior government officials and foreign diplomats attended the ceremony.
