Differences in Creation A Need for Building Societies

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The differences that we see in God’s creations are signs of His power and these differences play important role in the social life of humans.

There are various questions about God’s justice. One of them says that if God is just then what is the reason for such differences in the creation of creatures, especially humans?

Differences in the creation are not a sort of oppression but are manifestations of justice. They are key to understanding God. “And His signs are the creation of heavens and earth and the diversity of your tongues and colors. Surely, there are signs in this for all the worlds.” (Surah Ar-Rum, verse 22)

If an architect builds every building with just one design or if a painter draws the same thing over and over, it shows their limit. However, if someone offers new ideas or designs every moment, this shows their high capability.

There will be no growth and perfection if all people would have the same traits. Basically, the system of cooperation, coordination, and kindness works when there are differences in place. This is where the wealthy and the capable help those in need.

If all people have equal revenue, then Infaq and alms-giving find no meaning. Consider one who does not know how to drive but has sufficient religious knowledge. He asks others to teach him driving lessons and others go to him to gain religious teachings.

Differences play an important role in the social life of humans. There are two main points about this importance:

1) Humans live in a society and their lives are sort of connected to each other. Two theories about the reason for this social nature have been mentioned; firstly, it is the necessity to answer their needs that makes people live in society, and secondly, humans re naturally inclined to live in society and hate loneliness. All in all, humans are social.

2) Social life cannot be maintained in absence of cooperation. It is because of the differences that everyone pursues a different job or art. This creates various needs which in turn, help create a community. Therefore, differences lead to needs and these needs pave the ground for the growth of humans in society.
