This is according to the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the United States’ largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization.
CAIR on Friday condemned the far-right Israeli regime’s latest war crime in Gaza after at least five patients died when their oxygen ran out as Khan Younis’ Nasser Hospital was stormed by Israeli troops in violation of international humanitarian law.
The Israeli regime has already killed almost 30,000 people, mainly women and children, in the Gaza Strip since it launched a genocidal war on the Palestinian enclave on October 7, 2023.
In a statement, CAIR National Communications Director Ibrahim Hooper said:
“By systematically destroying Gaza’s health care system, and leaving patients – including infants – to die, Israel’s far-right government is once again demonstrating its genocidal intent to all who are willing to see. The Biden administration must act, and act now, to stop these ongoing war crimes and to demand an immediate and permanent ceasefire.”

Earlier this week, CAIR called on the US Department of State to investigate new allegations that Israeli forces are torturing Palestinian detainees and allowing Israeli civilians to witness and record video footage of the abuses on their cell phones.
Washington, DC, based CAIR also issued an urgent call to action for every American citizen to voice their opposition to any US House bill allocating unconditional military aid to Israel.
CAIR condemned the Senate’s “shameful” vote to approve $14 billion in unconditional military aid for the far-right Netanyahu regime’s ongoing genocide in Gaza that has killed almost 30,000 Palestinians – mostly women and children.
