IQNA – The Secretary General of Hezbollah reaffirmed the organization's steadfast commitment to supporting Palestinians, calling on Muslims across the world to help people in Gaza.

The Secretary General delivered these remarks during a sermon on the third eve of Muharram. He said that on the religious significance of this year's theme, "Are We Not on the Righteous Path?" emphasizing the Muslim responsibility to maintain righteousness, denounce injustice, and combat oppression, as reported by Al Manar.

Reflecting on the words of Imam Hussein (AS), Hezbollah's leader lamented the current state of affairs where truth is often sidelined, and falsehoods dominate. He quoted part of Imam Hussein’s (AS) saying: “Don’t you see that the truth is ignored and falsehood prevails? The situation is so dire that a believer longs to meet Allah (i.e., to die). Today, I see death as a blessing and living under tyrants as nothing but disgust and disgrace.”

Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, addressing the need for moral courage, declared that truth-seeking is paramount, irrespective of whether it is supported by the majority or a minority. He criticized the global silence on Gaza's plight and the support for the Israeli regime, questioning the moral justification of such stances.

In his discourse, Sayyed Nasrallah acknowledged the support fronts in Lebanon, Yemen, and Iraq, as well as political support from Syria and Iran. He contrasted these with the lackluster responses of some Arab and Islamic nations to the situation in Gaza.

Highlighting the dire circumstances in the Gaza Strip, where aid blockades have led to the risk of famine, epidemics, and diseases, he questioned the Arab and Islamic nations' inability to provide support.

The leader of Hezbollah honored the group’s martyrs, including elite members and commanders, vowing to continue their mission until their objectives are met.

He reiterated the irreversible nature of the Islamic Resistance's actions since October 8, emphasizing their unwavering resolve despite the loss of lives, destruction of homes, and the threat of war.

In a direct appeal to two billion Muslims, Sayyed Nasrallah posed a poignant question, asking, “Where is Muslim money being spent today, while two million Muslims in Gaza suffer from hunger and significant resources are allocated for tanks, planes, and other military capabilities?”

At least 34,200 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have been killed by Israeli regime’s attacks in the past nine months.
