Iran Education Minister Urges Selection of Muslim World’s Exemplary Teacher
Ali Reza Kazemi made the proposal in a meeting with Salim M. AlMalik, the director general of the Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).
He said a mechanism should be devised to select and introduce the best teacher in the Islamic world every year.
He also suggested the formation of a scientific and cultural association of Muslim world school students and organization of a scientific Olympiad for the Muslim world’s students.
Kazemi further appreciated ISESCO for optimal organization of the third conference of the member states’ education ministers.

He also invited the ISESCO chief to visit Iran and learn about the experiences and advances of the Islamic Republic in the field of education.
AlMalik, for his part, praised the Iranian delegation’s active participation at the conference and expressed hope he could pay a visit to Iran in the near future.
