The unveiling of two key Quranic educational tools—the Quran Memorization Workbook and the "i-League" app—took place on Monday, November 25, in Tehran.
The initiative is a joint effort between Iran's Ministry of Education and the Islamic Development Organization, aiming to enhance Quran memorization and understanding among school students nationwide.
At the ceremony, Minister of Education Alireza Kazemi praised the collaboration between the two organizations in fostering a Quranic culture among students. “Familiarity with the Quran and memorizing its verses should involve leveraging all available resources,” Kazemi said.
The initiative includes the distribution of 200,000 workbooks focused on the 30th Juz (Juz’ Amma) of the Quran. These workbooks will be installed in classrooms, with teachers assisting students in memorization throughout the academic year.
Successful students will advance to higher-level Quranic centers for further studies.

The “i-League” app, designed for Android, offers an engaging platform for Quranic competitions at local and national levels. Students can participate in group challenges while teachers track individual progress. “This tool ensures meaningful interaction with Quranic content while fostering healthy competition among students,” explained Hojat-ol-Islam Majed Manabi, head of Education Ministry’s Quran, Etrat and Prayers Department.
Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Qomi, Head of the Islamic Development Organization, emphasized the program's broader mission: “Most people deeply respect the Quran, but its teachings are often sidelined. Our goal is to integrate Quranic education into students' lives in accessible ways.”
This initiative aligns with broader efforts to meet the Islamic Revolution Leader's vision of training 10 million Quran memorizers. Programs such as the national "Verses to Live By" campaign have already laid groundwork, but these new tools represent another step forward in achieving that goal.
