The competition was organized by the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs Department of the Hazrat Abbas (AS) Holy Shrine.
Sayyid Dhurgham Al-Ibrahimi, head of the Quranic Project at the African Studies Center affiliated with the shrine’s department, emphasized the event's objectives. "This competition aligns with the center’s efforts to promote Quranic knowledge across the African continent and strengthen social engagement with the Holy Quran," he said.
Al-Ibrahimi highlighted the center's focus on fostering Quranic awareness among African youth and children. “We are committed to organizing Quranic courses and competitions throughout Africa to expand the reach of Quranic teachings,” he added.

The closing ceremony celebrated the top three participants and honored all attendees.
Speaking at the event, Sheikh Kiza Musa Kiza, the center's coordinator in Tanzania, commended the participants’ efforts. He pointed to the importance of such initiatives in nurturing a Quranic culture among young generations.
