Speaking in a conference on Tuesday, Hojat-ol-Islam Abdol Hossein Khosrow Panah, secretary of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution, lauded the extensive interpretation, calling it a valuable resource for addressing modern crises.

"We are grateful to witness the publication of this monumental exegesis," Khosrow Panah stated. "It provides insights into divine teachings and the wisdom of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), which can be applied in our daily lives and shared with societies struggling with various challenges."

According to Khosrow Panah, Tasnim builds on the strengths of Al-Mizan, a renowned exegesis by Allameh Tabatabai, while also answering the pressing questions of contemporary society.

He noted that Ayatollah Javadi Amoli, as a scholar attuned to the present era, understands the difficulties and crises people face today.

One of the key features of Tasnim is its thematic-chronological structure, which allows readers to extract various subjects while maintaining a systematic order of interpretation. Khosrow Panah emphasized that each layer of the work offers deeper understanding, making it accessible to different levels of study.

Another distinctive characteristic, according to the scholar, is the work’s methodology. "Tasnim interprets the Quran through three perspectives: the Quran itself, the traditions of the Prophet (PBUH) and his household, and rational analysis," he explained.

Additionally, the exegesis engages with contemporary issues such as governance, ethics, social philosophy, and the crises facing modern humanity, he said.

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli's approach includes presenting new questions to the Quran and deriving insightful, systematic response, Khosrow Panah said, adding, "He has interrogated the Quran and extracted a fresh, profound, and methodical understanding."

According to Khosrow Panah, Tasnim also takes into account previous interpretations of the Quran and is designed to be inclusive. "This is a universal exegesis, and Sunni scholars can also benefit from it," he noted.

"It should be introduced to the Vatican and Hindu scholars as well, as it holds value for global discourse."

The 'Tasnim Exegesis' stands as one of the most detailed interpretations of the Quran in Islamic history. Completed over a span of 40 years, the work comprises 80 volumes.

In 2006, the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) recognized it as the "Top Research Work in the Field of Islamic and Quranic Studies."

The exegesis employs a multidimensional approach, combining classical tafsir methodology with modern philosophical and theological insights, and extensively engages with both Sunni and Shia interpretations, as well as Islamic mysticism and rational discourse.
