IQNA – The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has launched a new, intensified wave of missile and drone strikes targeting the occupied Palestinian territories as part of its ongoing legitimate response, Operation True Promise III.

Operation True Promise III: Iran Launches Intensified Retaliatory Strikes

In the latest phase of Operation True Promise III, the IRGC deployed a substantial number of ballistic missiles and offensive drones late Monday night, escalating its retaliatory campaign against the Israeli regime. This operation, initiated Friday night, continues under the code name “Ya Ali ibn Abi Talib.”

Israeli media outlets reported widespread alarm across the occupied territories, with sirens sounding in northern, central, and southern regions as Iran began the ninth phase of its military retaliation. According to sources close to the operation, this stage is expected to surpass previous waves in both intensity and duration.

The latest Iranian strike comes shortly after Israel’s missile attack on a building belonging to the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) in northern Iran — a move Tehran has condemned as an egregious violation of international law and a blatant war crime.

The Israeli regime initiated an unprovoked war against Iran, targeting nuclear facilities, military infrastructure, and residential areas since Friday. In a legitimate response to the atrocities, Iran launched Operation True Promise III.

To manage the fallout from Iran’s escalating response, Israeli authorities have reportedly banned live broadcasts of the attacks and prohibited settlers from sharing any videos or images on social media.

Despite these restrictions, leaked footage has emerged showing civilians in the occupied territories taking shelter underground, while traffic camera feeds have been reportedly shut down to prevent further exposure of the situation.

One widely shared video appeared to show an Israeli interceptor missile malfunctioning and falling to the ground, even before Iranian projectiles had reached Tel Aviv. The footage quickly gained traction on social media.

An IRGC spokesperson stated that this phase of the operation would continue throughout the night, deploying a hybrid strategy that integrates both missile and drone attacks. In his words:

“In the past 72 hours, the IRGC Aerospace Division has, without a break, targeted 545 sites belonging to the Israeli regime with offensive drones across the occupied territories,” adding that operations will press forward.

Ahead of this escalation, Iran’s armed forces had issued a stark public warning to residents of the occupied territories, urging them to evacuate for their own safety. In a televised message, Colonel Reza Sayyad, spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces Communications Center, stressed that staying in the area posed serious danger due to Iran’s upcoming “crushing” response.

“Leave the occupied territories. Leaving this occupied land is the only way to preserve your lives,” he said.

Before Operation True Promise III was officially launched, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, appeared on national television, warning that Israel’s actions would not go unanswered: “The Zionist regime made a big mistake, a grave error,” he said, adding, “The Iranian nation will not overlook the blood of its precious martyrs and will not ignore the aggression against its sky.”
