Registration Opens for Jordan’s 21st Quran Contest for Women

IQNA – Registration has started for the 21st edition of Jordan’s national Quran competition for women, the country’s Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Holy Sites announced.

It is annually organized under the title of the Hashemite Local Competition for Females in Quran memorization and recitation.

The ministry stated on Monday that the competition is divided into seven categories:

Full Quran memorization: Applicants must be under 30 years old.

Memorization of 25 consecutive parts: Applicants must be under 28 years old.

Memorization of 20 consecutive parts: Applicants must be under 25 years old.

Memorization of 15 consecutive parts: Applicants must be under 20 years old.

Memorization of 10 parts: Applicants must be under 18 years old.

Memorization of 5 consecutive parts: Applicants must be under 12 years old.

Memorization of 1 part: Applicants must be under 8 years old.

Interested participants can register from today until October 15 via the following link: https://h-qran-c.awqaf.gov.jo, the ministry added.
