Egypt National Football Team Players Recite Quran Chorally (+Video)
A video of the players of the Egyptian team has been released, showing them reciting the Quran before the match with the Zimbabwe national team at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, Yeni Shafak reported.
The choral recitation of the Quran by the Egyptian players has received widespread coverage.
In this video, they recite Surah Al-Fatiha once and Surah Al-Ikhlas three times in the locker room before the match begins.
Egypt played Zimbabwe in its first match at the Africa Cup of Nations and was able to defeat their rival of 2-1.
