Demonstration Held in London in Support of Iran amid War

IQNA – British citizens and intellectuals took to the streets in London to declare their support for the Islamic Republic of Iran and demand an end to the American-Zionist aggression against the country.

Thousands of British people demonstrated Sunday in protest of the war policies of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran, RT reported.

Participants in the demonstration chanted slogans condemning the joint American-Zionist attack on Iran and waved the Iranian flag.

They also chanted slogan like, “End the hypocrisy in nuclear policies”, referring to the dual policies of the international community towards the nuclear military activities of some regimes and the strictness regarding Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

The joint military aggression of the United States and the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran began on February 28, following which Leader of the Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and a number of senior commanders and officials were martyred.

In response to the aggression, Iran has launched intensive attacks against Israeli regime targets and US bases in the region within the framework of Article 51 of the United Nations Charter and with the aim of deterrence, and has warned that continued aggression will be met with a more severe response.
