Catholicos Karekin II Pays Tribute to Iran's Martyred Leader

IQNA – Catholicos Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, visited the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Yerevan to pay tribute to martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

During a meeting with Khalil Shirgholami, ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, Catholicos Karekin II extended his condolences and sympathy to the government and people of Iran.

He also prayed for the elevation of the late Leader's spiritual rank.

The Catholicos further expressed hope that, by the grace and mercy of Almighty God and under the leadership of the newly elected Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, the peace-loving people of Iran would continue to live in security, stability, and prosperity.
