Quranic Course To Be Held at Husseini Holy Shrine

TEHRAN (IQNA) - A Quranic course titled “Umm-e Abiha” has been planned to be held for women at the holy shrine of Imam Hussein (AS) in Karbala.


According to the website of the Astan (custodianship) of the holy shrine, the course will be organized by the Women Education Section of the Astan’s Office of Religious Affairs from January 31.

It has been planned for female Quran teachers of the country.

Intisar Fadhil, director of the section, said that the principles of Quran recitation, Tajweed and Quranic teachings and sciences will be the themes of the course.

Registration for the course began on January 29 and concluded today, January 30.

Dissemination of Quranic culture in the society and enriching the educational system of the country with Quranic sciences are the main objectives of the course.

The director added that the participants will be awarded at the end of the course.
