Awqaf Nat’l Quran Contest Slated for December
TEHRAN (IQNA) – The national stage of the 38th Awqaf Quran Competition in Iran will be held in December this year.
According to the organizing committee, the competition will be held in three stages, namely local, provincial and national.
Registration for the Quranic event began last week and will continue until Saturday, August 15.
The local and provincial stages are slated for August 16-Septmeber 5 and November 6- December 6, respectively.
There will also be special courses for those who make it to the provincial and national rounds.
The contest is annually held by the Awqaf and Charity Affairs Organization to identify Quranic talents and foster Quranic teachings in society.
