Quran Teacher Training Courses Planned in Thailand
According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Mahdi Hassankhani, the Iranian cultural attaché in Bangkok, announced this in an address to a specialized meeting of Quran teachers and reciters organized by the Iranian Cultural Center in Al-Mahdi Foundation in South of Thailand.
He stressed the necessity for developing Quranic education in society and said Quranic educational programs for teenagers can have influential and lasting results.
The official noted that the evaluation of Quran education at different levels is an important step in dissemination and development of Quranic culture.
The specialized teacher training courses on introduction and application of new Quran teaching methods and Tajweed principles will be organized in cooperation with Sunni Muslim Quran masters in Thailand.
