Axis of Resistance on Threshold of A Strategic, Historical Victory
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made the remark in a speech delivered at a ceremony held in Lebanon to mourn the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (AS), Al-Safir daily reported.
He added that the military solution to the Syrian crisis has reached an impasse.
Nasrallah noted that the enemies plotted against Syria after they failed to carry out their plan to attack the resistance movement in Lebanon and the attack on Iran.
He referred to the enemies’ pretexts for military intervention in Syria, saying that they have planned for overthrowing the Syrian government.
He said Syria has opted to stand by the resistance front in Iraq, Palestine and Lebanon and that is why the enemies want Syria to pay for its decision to support the resistance.
Nasrallah further said that the military option in Syria has failed and a political solution to the country’s crisis is finally on agenda.
