Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah made the remark on Thursday in an address to Ashura mourners in South of Beirut, Al-Manar news network reported.
He said this presence aims to defend Lebanon, Syria, Palestine and the resistance against the threats created by aggressions against these countries.
Nasrallah underlined the need for supporting the people of Palestine and Syria and called for support for the resistance movement to confront Zionist aggressions.
“We should remind the Muslim Ummah of the cause of Palestine,” he stated, adding that no one should relinquish this cause and that all Muslims should stand by the Palestinian nation to liberate their land and their sanctities.
He pointed to plots aimed at splitting up some of the countries in the region, stressing that internal problems in these countries should be resolved politically and judiciously.
Hezbollah secretary general further referred to the threat of Takfiris (extremists who regarding their fellow Muslims as infidels) and said the issue of Takfiris is a problem of all Muslims and that it requires the cooperation of everyone to resolve.
Elsewhere in his address, Nasrallah underlined the necessity of maintaining national unity in Lebanon and urged everyone in the country to work together to ensure a dignified life for all Lebanese.
