Iranian Cultural Attaché Talks to Kyrgyz Media

Ali Kebriyayizadeh, Iranian cultural attaché in Kyrgyzstan, attended a press conference to talk to the representatives of the country’s media for the first time.


  According to IQNA’s branch in Central Asia, the Iranian official referred to the scientific and cultural relations between Iran and Kyrgyzstan and said that the Iranian Cultural Center in this country has played an influential role in the promotion of the relations since its establishment.



He added that in cooperation with the center, many Kyrgyz scientific and cultural figures as well as artists of the country have got the opportunity to participate in international conferences and seminars organized in Iran.



Kebriyayizadeh noted that introducing the scientific and cultural potentials of Iran to the cultural, scientific and religious society of Kyrgyzstan and boosting friendly relations between the two countries have been the objectives of the center.



He stated that the first trip that Hojat-ol-Isla Hassan Rohani made as the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran was a trip to Kyrgyzstan which is important for the two countries.



“Iran has reached great achievements in various scientific and cultural fields in spite of economic sanctions,” he added.



The Iranian attaché concluded that the people of the two countries are not well acquainted with each other and it is upon the Iranian and Kyrgyz media and press to take the responsibility to introduce the two cultures and societies.
