According to IQNA’s branch in the holy city of Qom, the competition includes four categories of memorization of the entire Quran, Tahqeeq recitation of the verses, Tarteel recitation and supplication reading.
Participants in this section of the Olympiad competed in memorization category on November 23, and Tahqeeq and Tarteel recitation contests were respectively held on November 24 and 25.
Al-Mahdi School, the Center for Language and Islamic Teachings, in the holy city of Qom will host the competitions on supplication reading on November 26.
Various branches of the international university in the holy city of Mashhad, Gorgan and Esfahan are also holding the oral section of the Olympiad which will continue until November 29.
The competitions in the holy city of Qom which will conclude tomorrow, November 26, are supervised by Mo’tamedi, Hakimi, Mohammadi, Torkaman, Abedi and Dehdashti.
The judging board of the competitions is headed by Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammad Reza Shahidipur.
The written section of the Olympiad will be held online from November 10 to December 24.
