Iranian Nation’s Resistance, Supreme Leader’s stance Led to Iran’s Diplomatic Success

Syria’s President referred to the Iranian nation’s resistance and the Supreme Leader’s principled stance as the reason for Iran’s success in reaching an agreement over the nuclear issue.

Speaking in a telephone conversation with Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani, Bashar Al-Assad congratulated the Iranian nation and Hojat-ol-Islam Rouhani over the agreement with the G 5+1 (five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany).

He said this achievement would strengthen the developing countries’ right to have access to peaceful nuclear technology.

Assad also stressed that Iran’s accomplishment would boost the regional and global position of the Islamic Republic of Iran and that would affect Syria as a country that has strategic ties with Iran.

Dr Rouhani, for his part, reiterated Iran’s support for Syria in its fight against terrorism and hoped that peace would spread all over Syria.
