"From Ashura to Arba’een" Contest Underway in Afghanistan

An art contest titled “From Ashura to Arba’een” is being held by Afghanistan’s Union of Contemporary Artists and Nama Rasaneh Institute in Kabul.

According to IQNA’s branch in West Asia, the competition has been planned to introduce spiritual manifestations of Imam Hussein’s   (AS) uprising.

Calligraphy, painting, photography, poetry and story are various categories of the contest organized on the occasion of Muharram and Arba’een (40 days after Ashura).

The call for the contest was announced on November 17 and those willing to attend should send their artworks to the union by December 17.
