UAE’s Nat’l Quran Distributed in 28 Countries

The UAE’s Authority of Islamic Affairs and Charity distributes over 95000 copies of the country’s national Holy Quran in 28 countries.

According to Al-Bayan newspaper, Hamd Al-Sheibani, Director General of the authority said that the office has distributed 95159 copies of the Mushaf of Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 28 countries so far.

He added that the office plans to distribute some 35068 copies of the Mushaf in 9 more countries in cooperation with the UAE's Airlines and FlyDubai.

Al-Sheibani stated that the Mushaf has been published in different styles, sizes and bindings with different illuminations, golden covers and expensive sheets.

He also noted that some copies of the Mushaf have been distributed in Quran memorization centers, charity institutes, schools and mosques in Islamic and Arab countries.

Germany, Iraq, Tunisia, Kuwait, China, Singapore, Sri Lanka, The Philippines, America, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Nigeria, South Africa, Portuguese, Turkey, Greece, Brazil, Oman, Russia, Spain, the Netherlands, Uganda, Qatar, and Morocco are the countries in which the copies of the national Mushaf have been distributed.

Some copies of the Holy Quran will also be distributed in Mauritania, Kazakhstan, Romania, Chile, Jordan, Kosovo, Djibouti, Monte Negro and New Delhi.
